2025 Riesling Spätlese fruchtsüß

Ingredients

• 200 gBlue cheese (e.g., Roquefort or pungent Gorgonzola)
• 100 gPear chutney
• 4 slicesWalnut bread
• 1 pieceRipe pear
• 1 tspLiquid honey
• 2 sprigsFresh thyme

Preparation

1. 1Slice the walnut bread into approximately 1 cm thick slices and lightly toast them in a dry pan if desired.
2. 2Wash the pear, halve it, remove the core, and slice the flesh into very thin wedges.
3. 3Carefully cut the blue cheese into bite-sized pieces or break it into large chunks.
4. 4Spread each slice of walnut bread generously with the pear chutney.
5. 5Arrange the prepared cheese and pear wedges decoratively on top of the chutney.
6. 6Drizzle the toasts with a little honey and sprinkle with the plucked thyme leaves.
