Ingredients

• 250 gFlammkuchen dough (ready-to-bake)
• 150 gCrème fraîche or sour cream
• 150 gSoft goat cheese log
• 4 piecesFresh figs
• 2 tbspLiquid forest honey
• 3 sprigsFresh thyme
• 30 gWalnut kernels
• 1 pinchSalt
• 1 pinchBlack pepper

Preparation

1. 1Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F) top/bottom heat or 200°C (392°F) fan-forced.
2. 2Roll out the Flammkuchen dough flat directly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. 3Spread the crème fraîche evenly over the dough, leaving a small margin at the edges.
4. 4Season the crème fraîche base with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
5. 5Cut the soft goat cheese into slices approximately 0.5 cm thick.
6. 6Wash the figs and also cut them into thin slices.
7. 7Top the Flammkuchen alternating with the cheese and fig slices and sprinkle with the roughly chopped walnuts.
8. 8Bake the Flammkuchen on the middle rack for about 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
9. 9Pick the thyme leaves off the sprigs.
10. 10Remove the Flammkuchen from the oven, immediately drizzle with the honey, and garnish with the fresh thyme.
